Retail business for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa EXTENSION

Dear All,

I am on 50K entrepreneur route. After hours of research online and on this forum i am still confused about using the retail business for claiming the points for the tier 1 entrepreneur visa extension?

In policy guidance there is no clear answer. It would be great if someone can shed some light on this.

In my opinion, retail business is below NQF level 4 and hence not a qualified business for your extension purposes. It's the core service of the business which is considered not your job title in the business.

This is so confusing. Is there any way to confirm this with UKBA? I have sent them an email but there is no reply yet.

Also i have seen on some threads on this forum some people confirmed this with solicitor and they said you can do any kind of business after your initial application.

As far as i am aware, you are only allowed to do the business which is NQF level 4 or above for 50k Route, the solicitor is giving false information.
