Anyone had one of these. What's the check they do.

Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission in Islamabad.
Unfortunately, the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further checks. This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.

We will conclude your case as soon as possible and we will email you when your documents have been returned to the Visa Application Centre. You will then be contacted again when your documents are ready for collection. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before you have been advised to do so.

We apologise for this delay. Please avoid making any travel arrangements until you have collected your passport.

We would be grateful if you could keep your correspondence to a minimum during the consideration process of your application. If however you need to contact us or would like to track the progress of your case, you can do so via our International Enquiry Service at: www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk.

Kind regards,

It's a standard generic email they send to say they need more time as they couldn't process your visa under stated processing times, I wouldn't worry too much inshallah all will be okay keep your imaan strong. :)

Most solicitors will not put their 100% effort into applications as its a job for them whereas us ourselves run around gathering the evidence to make sure everything is perfect at lease in the cases I have seen this is true

Hi,

Brother Asif hassling the court by keep contacting them will wont help you to speed up your appeal process its a court procedure thing and court don't give any kind of priority to any one. Contacting them everyday wont help I am just sharing my personal experience with you my brother. I know its extremely frustrating but what else can we do a part from praying to Allah SWT for a good result.

I am just wondering about the work loads the courts have got now to deal with so many appeals. Just take the example of this forum we didn't even constitutes not even 0.0001% of the total amount of people who are in the same boat like us and they are also contacting the courts as well. Courts are designed to deal with the cases not on a mass levels. May be one or two or may be in 10's not 1000s I am just sharing my thoughts here with you brother. And the time courts are giving to the UKVI for the review process is a normal thing cause then if UKVI fails to bring any solid evidence for their decisions the courts can turn back and say to them that just issue the visa we have given you ample time to collect the evidence to back your decisions and you failed.

Check our timelines brother will help you in determining where you are standing when it comes down to your appeal process.

Remember me in your prayers and I'll also do the same for every one in my every Prayers.

Keep us updated on the forum regarding your wifes visa appeal/application.

Good luck to every one.

Paperwork goes to tribunal in UK then a judge has a look at it I think then it is sent to the embassy

The same Eco doesn't look at it, its a different one, they have 15 weeks deadline... This is called review period.. Your review deadline is the date u get in a letter normally it is looked at by 9/10 weeks if deadline passes and no news then it goes to court

Brother all will be okay I will break it down for you

1. Applicant submits Appeal – within 28 days from the date that you received the decision

2. The Tribunals Service will inform the visa section that an appeal has been received by sending a IAFT-11 (receipt) and IAFT-2 form (showing date of receipt at the Tribunals Service) and any accompanying documents by diplomatic post within 28 days of receipt. They will request the visa section to review the decision and, if upheld, to prepare an Appeal Bundle.

3. On receipt of the Tribunal’s IAFT forms 11 and 2 at the visa section, an Entry Clearance Manager reviews your application.

If s/he overturns the decision to refuse and decides that a visa can be issued, the visa section must inform the applicant and ask him/her to submit his/her passport for issuing of the visa within 10 working days.

If the ECM upholds the decision to refuse, the visa section prepares an Appeal bundle, which must be despatched to the Tribunal as follows:

Within 4 weeks for family visit appeals and non settlement appeals
Within 12 weeks for settlement appeals

4. On receipt of the ECO’s Appeal Bundle, the Tribunal will log your appeal on their systems and schedule a hearing. This can either be an oral hearing, or your appeal will be decided on papers (without an oral hearing). The choice is yours to make and you will have indicated this on your Appeal form. How long does it take for your hearing to be listed? Well, how long is a piece of string? Family visit appeals are usually heard around 28 days from receipt of the ECO’s bundle at the Tribunal. For settlement appeals this is around 56 days. However, some applicants have been waiting much longer.

5. The Immigration Judge will notify the First Tier tribunal of his/her decision within 10 working days from the hearing. They will then arrange for the decision (the “Determination”) to be sent to yourself and the visa section that decided on your visa application. It can take 4 weeks before the Determination reaches the visa section.

6. On receipt of their copy of the determination, the visa section has 8 weeks to process it.

Inshallah it will all work out and you will get your visa for your spouse before you know it

Remember me in your prayers and I'll also do the same for every one in my every Prayers.

Keep us updated on the forum regarding your wifes visa appeal/application.

Good luck to every one.
did'nt say anything about speeding up my case i wanted clear concise information, if which was provided by staff the first time around i wouldn't have saw the need to make contact multiple times i paid for a "service" to be provided to me by this goverment and that service is utter dog poo. it just seems to be we took your money thanks. now shut up and wait !

salaams everybody,

Hope everyone is okay.

I have a quick question,

How long can you go on holiday to Pakistan on a spouse visa?

Is there some kind of limit on the number of days you are allowed outside the uk on a spouse visa for the fir 2 and half years?

I have been goggle searching the answer but getting conflicting reports.

Some results saying you are allowed 180 days.

So still cant find the right answer
