Tier 4 general or tier 4 general (sponsored) ?

Post by fragality » Mon Sep 07, 2015 10:27 pm

Hi dear members! any thoughts on my problem?
I have had a big confusion of choosing the right sub tier for my application.
The uni gives me the funding so I went ahead and applied for tier 4 general sponsored. As university seems to be qualified as official sponsor and I am not privately funded. And also you can't submit your own financial funds and sponsorship as it can't be counted twice  (gov.uk)
Now my application is considering for long time. I am panicking that actually I should not be choosing this.

The information on the internet is very very contradictory. Some say: never choose 'sponsored' even if you get the sponsorship from our uni. There is no strict rules about it in the Tier 4 guidance.
My university seems busy and not replying.

I am really really worrying that I need to withdraw my application not to get refusal.
Any thoughts??

Thank you in advance,
F
