shop on my name considered as investment?

If I purchase a shop on my (Director) name and register my company there, does it count as an investment?

is this question that complex that nobody has a basic opinion about this.

If you purchase a commercial property then yes this will count as investment though i have read in the guidance notes that any payments made towards goodwill to previous business owner will not count as evidence.

Very unfair but i guess this was being abused for extension purposes.

I am purchasing it from open market and solely for office use.

the problem is if I purchase it on my(Director) name can I include it in company accounts.
