Applying for US Green Card Lottery

Hi,

After being fed up with over a year long wait for British Naturalisation I'm deciding to try my luck with the US where immigrants are not treated like Home Office does in the UK.

How long does it normally take? I wonder if it'd be faster than British Citizenship.

It takes long and is quite an involved process. A close family member of mine did and got it, but it was tedious.

Many thanks again CR001! I wanted to apply today to the land of the Immigrants but apparently my home country is on the ineligible list now. Just great

Yes, they do appear to be quite picky about what nationalities qualify to apply
