Tier 1 Under 18 Child travelling to UK with grand parents.

Post by manujtech9 » Sat Nov 21, 2015 11:21 pm

Myself holding Tier 1 (General) visa - main applicant.
My wife and 3 year old daughter are Tier1 (General) dependant.

My wife and daughter are travelling to India for couple of months. After that my wife alone will come back and my daughter will stay in India with her grand parents for another couple of months till March 16.

My question is :
1. My wife's parents are planning to visit us here in UK in March 2016 so can my daughter come along with them? Will there be any problem on UK border? Do myself & my wife need to give any authorisation letter?
2. My wife's paternal family surname is different than mine and hence my daughter so can that be a problem?

Has anybody experienced this?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward for some advise.

Regards
Manuj
