Proof of residencein Uk - requirement for visit visa

Post by fsaeed » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:26 am

Hi All,

Just a quick question, is it necessary to send property deed as a [proof of residence] if one own's a house in UK as a supporting document for family visitor visa.

On invitation letter can I specify that I live in a 3 bedroom detached house with wife and a young daughter and have enough space to accommodate.

Is there anyway to show proof of residence by not actually sharing the ownership of house.

Thanks in advance.

I have never used anything other than the council tax bill .. for the purpose of proving .. address / adequate accommodation / ownership / etc.
