I can switch from e600 to subclass RSMS 187

Post by tuliprose » Sun Dec 27, 2015 1:50 pm

Hello,

I have applied for British Passport and waiting for interview. Hopefully everthing goes fine.

I am planning to move to Australia through Subclass RSMS 187 in regional Australia.

I'll apply Subclass e600 visitor's visa which lets me stay there for 12 months.

My question is, can i switch from e600 to RSMS 187 onshore?

Many Thanks.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have gone through the above link but it does not mention that I can switch from visitor's visa to RSMS 187.

I think it depends on the conditions placed on my visitor's visa. If there are not conditions like "No further stay" then I might be able to switch.

Thanks
