Help with part of FLR(M) form for my husband

Post by wandali » Tue Jan 12, 2016 2:10 pm

Hello Guys,

I am a bits stuck on this part of the form I was wondering if someone can help me.
I have Indefinite leave to remain but my husband is on a student visa which he wants to switch.
I currently employed full time earning around £22,0000p.a. We are applying under category A of Income from salaried employment.

I have the 6months payslips, employment letter & bank statements showing the money going in.

Below is the question and how I have answered them is in bold is this right?

7.3A If you or your sponsor have had more than one job, you must provide the full details for each job held and the specified evidence for each job.
You and your sponsor’s total combined income from salaried employment?
£ 22,000
When combined does your annual income and your sponsor’s annual income from current employment meet or exceed the financial requirement you must meet?
Yes
No
You or your sponsor must have been employed by the same employer for 6 months prior to the application and your combined total earnings must meet the specified amount at 7.3A (xiv) for this 6 month period. If not, does you and your sponsors income from salaried employment received in the 12 months prior to application meet or exceed the financial requirement you must meet?
Yes
No

Please can someone tell me if this is right
Thank you

Can my husband switch now from student visa to spouse visa

Post by wandali » Fri Jan 15, 2016 1:22 pm

Hi guys

Hope you can help, my husband is on student visa which expires in Jan 2017 the question is can he switch to spouse visa as I have indefinite leave to remain & I will be his sponsor.

Another question is Do you need to earn £9300 for category A after tax deduction or before tax deduction?

Last question we have 4 documents (council tax, tenancy agreement, electricity and gas bill) under both of our names although some of the bills have my husband as Ms instead of Mr. We are planning to provide 2 more individual documents to have a total of 6 documents. will this be okay as a proof we are living together? The documents are less than 6 months as we started living together last year in November after getting married

I will appreciate your help
Thanks inadvance

Yes, he can apply now either in person or by post. Fees are going up in April so you might want to apply before then.

Another question is Do you need to earn £9300 for category A after tax deduction or before tax deduction? It is before tax deductions. You need to provide 6 months payslips and bank statements showing you meet the £18600pa financial requirement.

The documents are less than 6 months as we started living together last year in November after getting married Submitting what you have since marriage and living together is fine.

I will appreciate your help
