Tier 1 General ILR Query

First Visa granted: 20th March 2011 (for 2 years)

Entered UK: 21st March 2011

Extension: till 20th March 2016 (for 3 years)

Could you please confirm whether I can apply for ILR anytime after Feb 22nd before March 20th 2016 ?



My 4 years 11 months calculation in backwards:

Feb 22nd 2016 to Feb 23rd 2015
Feb 22nd 2015 to Feb 23rd 2014
Feb 22nd 2014 to Feb 23rd 2013
Feb 22nd 2013 to Feb 23rd 2012
Feb 22nd 2012 to Feb 23rd 2011 ( Note: Here my first Visa start date is March 20th 2011)

Yes that sounds right. After 22nd Feb 2016 should be good to go.

can you please help me with my Questions.

I applied for my tier 1 general visa in May 2010 but get refused because of my Original Degree as I didn't provide on that time as I didn't received on that time but on the appeal I got my Tier1 General Visa on 19 april 2011.
I was self employed from april 2009 to 2010 tax paid on 31 Jan 2011
after that I canceled my self employment on 31 Jan 2011
went back home for 1 month came back and left my previous job in august and get another job.
Got Extension on april 2013 till April 2016
now I am going to apply for my ILR on Mid of March or April.
Tax return submitted to HMRC with All Tax Paid
April 2009 to March 2010 Tax Paid Record in HMRC
April 2010 to March 2011 Not Self Employed
April 2011 to March 2012 Not Self Employed
April 2012 to March 2013 Tax Paid Record in HMRC
April 2013 to March 2014 Tax Paid Record in HMRC
April 2014 to March 2015 Tax Paid Record in HMRC
April 2015 to March 2016 Will submit tax return on March or April depend on the application date if applying in april then I will submit return first and then apply for visa.
my Question is
do I have to show my last 5 years self employment.?
If yes what is the best procedure ?

I am working as a Minicab Driver as a part time does it effect on Extension
is there any specific work that we have to do such as (Business or IT).
Please have a look into this and Let me know your views
