EU1 form and Evidence of residence.

Hi guys,

I am moving to Ireland and will have to fill the EU1 form for the stamp 4 visa, one the required items in the form is the Evidence of Residence.

They basically ask for 3 things:

#1 Letter from landlord/agency, rental contract or tenancy agreement
#2 Letters of Registration of Tenancy from the Private Residential Tenancies Board
#3 Utility bills in the names of both the applicant and the EU citizen

My wife lives in Ireland already and will ask the landlord for items #1 and #2.

For the item #3 would a utility bill just in her name be enough?

I was wondering that I can't get any utility bill before i get the VISA, so I don't know what kind of proof i could give in my name.

No I will move next month.

No i will apply after moving, but when i move i will enter as a visitor, so i don't know how can i get a utility bill in my name.

that's very easy just ring the utility bill company and ask them to add your name in the bill and they will do it for you, your wife will have to ring and tell them that she wants to add husband (your) name in the bill then they will talk to you for confirmation and that's it. remember tell them your name spells accurately and then ask them to repeat your name spells because often they send the bill with wrong name. hope this help.

oh don't worry, you can just sign up sky tv, phone and broadband for 50 euro, they don't do credit check.. take it easy
