Tier-1 Dependent Extension (inside UK) queries

Hi ,
I am planning to apply for my Tier-1 Dependent Extension ( inside UK) next week.

Can you please clarify the following queries ?

1.As this a Tier-1 Dependent Extension (and I have been in UK for more than 2 years) ,Do I need to provide any cohabitation documents ?

If yes ,for how long .At the moment I have NHS registration document and some recent council tax bills ( last 4 months) .

2.Regarding Immigration Health Surcharge ,Should I apply alone. OR Do I need to enter Main Applicants details as well.
I created an account and entered my details then its asks for following,
Are you applying to join or remain with a person already in the UK?
+ Add this person's details
You don't need to add this person's details if they are a UK or EEA citizen.

My husband is on a Tier-1 (G) visa.

so should I put Main Applicants details ?? Please clarify

3.Can anyone please provide me the cover letter & employee reference letter template ?


4.Are the following documents sufficient ?

1. Application Form (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _07-14.pdf)
2. Marriage Certificate.
3.Health Surcharge paid confirmation
4. Bank Statements (Main applicant) for 3 months to show the maintenance .
5. Payslips(Last 3 Months)
6. Applicant's Passport
7. 2 Photographs
8.Copy of Main Applicants Passport (All pages including Old BRP).
9. Copy of Main Applicant's BRP

Does your current visa expire the same time as your husband?

My Visa expires on 6th March 2016. however my husband has already renewed his Tier-1(G) visa seperately last year which would expire in 2018.

1. Generally advisable for cohabitation docs for over 2 years to prove that you are still in a relationship and living together, but atleast a minimum of 6 months. You could use bank statements of both yourself and your main applicant for the last 12 months for example.

2. IHS is for yourself only. Put the main applicants details and see if it includes £600 for the main applicant, if it does, then remove main applicant and do yourself only.

3. You don't need an employee reference letter.

4. The documents look good.

Please could I enquire if payslips and marriage cert (submitted before in the initial application) are required for extension of tier one g dependent visa (as indicated above)?

I have one more additional query regarding PEO appointment booking and Tier-1(G)dependenet extension form.
My name mentioned in the Passport as Sophia John Wilson ( before marraige) .
What should I select while booking a PEO appointment "Miss" or "Mrs" ? I think it should be "Mrs" ,right ?
Can anyone confirm this ?

Its your choice which form of address is used.

You can be 'Ms' if you don't wish to disclose marital status;
(if an option).

I have selected Mrs. while booking PEO appointment .

Hi All
My application was successful on 4th Mar ( Last day of my VISA ) thru PEO appointment . Today I have received the BRP card however the date and place of issue is mentioned as 7th Mar 2016 -UK .
Is that ok ? I already have an approval letter from home office issued on 4th Mar .

Yes, the BRP is not printed at PEO but elsewhere so the date is fine, HO have all your records of application dates.
