visa through next of kin

hi to all

one of my friends visa has ran out but he takes care of his friends child while she works (she has split from husband) who also is not in this country

so he takes care of her son 3 yr old

someone said you can apply for a visa through next of kin

is that possible? if so how much does it cost?

No he can't. There is no visa called 'next of kin visa'. A friends is also not 'next of kin'. Next of kin = family NOT friends.

Your friend should also not be working as a childminder, paid or unpaid, if on a visitor visa and even more so as a person who has now overstayed their visa.

No, it is not his child.

Your friend should do the right thing and leave the UK now that he has no valid visa. He is only going to make things difficult for himself as he is now an overstayer.
