Setting up a VC Fund

Post by John Palace » Wed Feb 10, 2016 3:13 am

Hi,

I'm in the stages of setting up a new VC fund in the UK and was wondering if anyone had any insight as to A) the best visa to apply for and B) if the Tier 1 investor Visa would be applicable (it won't be my personal funds, but they will be under my control for investment).

Thanks for your thoughts in advance!

Best,
Justin

Sounds like T1 Entrepreneur would be for you. The fund itself would be offshore I guess but the management company UK based. most VCs would need £200K to operate over 3 years. Remember you need 2 FT employees but I have not seen many VCs without a PA and an analyst
