Temporary Stamp4 3 months additional to decision date

Post by EU1hope » Sat Apr 02, 2016 10:38 am

Hi,

We received temp stamp 4 which has 3 months additional to the decision date, does any one else has similar experience ? Will we get decision on the date mentioned or after 6 to 7 weeks delay as it is happening nowadays,or will our decision be near the time of temp 4 expiry which will make 9 months to take decision,

Gurus please indicate what could be the reason of this additional stamp and how long it will take to get decision, Thabks

I have read through the board and looks like stamp 4 expiry is not the base of recieving EU1 design,

However please experience members confirm this, Thanks

Not necessarily, while considering the initial application, the Department of Justice issues a maximum of six months temporary stamp which is valid for the period of application.

I find it hard to believe that you were given 9 months temporary stamp, decision due date doesn't mean that the decision will be taken during the given time-frame, sometimes it takes 7 months pending submission of all the outstanding documents.

They are now issuing 3 months extra because they seem to be taking about 8 months to issue a decision on the 5 year card.

The delay is unlawful according to the directive.

Hi mkhan2525,

Did you receive an additional 3 months stamp i.e. Total 9 months stamp?

A decision on my wife's application is due in August but we received a registration letter stating the temp stamp will expire in November, 3 months after the decision due date.

Hi mkhan,

I know few cases where the decision was received on or before the date,
