Tier 1 ( General) to Tier 1 (Enterpreneur)

Post by imranravian8080 » Mon Apr 25, 2016 2:05 pm

Hello everyone,

I've a question. Is it possible if someone can switch to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) from Tier 1(General) ? If so then what are the guidelines?

Hope any body would help me with my question.

Thanks
Imran

Thanks. I ve just applied for the ILR based on Tier 1 (general) and waiting for their response. For backup I'm planning for other options. So Can I still apply for Tier 1 (entrepreneur) what ever would be the outcome. Could you please further guide me on this?

Thanks

What is the expiry date of your Tier 1 (General) leave?
On what date did you apply for ILR (again)?

Then you can only vary your existing ILR application to a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave to remain application.
You cannot make a new (2nd) application while the ILR application is under consideration.

You can, but you must do so within 28 days of becoming an overstayer.
Overstay of 28 days or less is ignored.
