The EU citizen must be engaged in one of the five activities listed in the leaflet.
If she has lost her job and looking for a new job than you should get a jobseekers letter from the FAS office and inform the EU treaty rights as soon you can.

You can read int the doc he provided:

E. Residing with sufficient resources
Where the EU citizen has sufficient resources to ma
intain themselves and any dependants in the State,
while possessing
comprehensive sickness insurance in respect of them
selves, their spouse, and any dependants. A person
residing on this basis must
have sufficient resources such that they would not
become an unreasonable burden on the social assista
nce system of the State.

A lawyer explained may be griffith can find a doc : it doesnt matter where the money comes from which means it could be from you as well.

I was only contractor on 12 month basis so i sent my contract and some of our joint account showing how the money comes in.

I Also showing a credit union account that had 1000€ explaining that our household had available every month my salary 2500 + 1000€ (Saving we never use) and that we are above the threshold for FIS (family income supplement) + VIH (50€/month each us ). And they were happy with that...Just sharing my expering they even forgot ask about healthcare but i sent a proof later so they record it.

Cheers

Hi Catcher777

so you were still on your first 6 month in ireland?

What was the clear reason of refusal ?

How much are you earning per month does it reach the threshold ?

Do you have a joing account ?

Actually i change to suffiscient after getting the 5 years Visa my wife then worked for a full year

for you case its right from the start which is not great .
You have to look for a college course for her reapply using that route
If you can get an admission quickly . As for i am moving to that option getting my spouse a course next year in a college.

With the college route then i am sure she will be considered active + your income and insurance

The review application is it not 15 working days?

That is my understanding.

What was she doing before when you applied?

Are you working at present? You could get medical insurance if you are working?

Are you sure the letter did not say 15 working days.

Get medical insurance and do review.

If she was working on fixed contract and lost job after contract ended, then the department will be wrong to refuse aswell.

They may be lots of basis for review.

Better to get review sorted so as not to mess up lawful residence. .
