Anyone know what the hell is happening with INIS?

This is the third week INIS (Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service) has moved/processed 1 day as far as 'Join Family' is concerned.

I was wondering if any of you lot has been in contact with them or heard anything from them..

I had been trying to call the citizenship helpline the last few weeks, emailed them today and they said the helpline is temporarily suspended.

I applied for my dependent brother's family to join me in Ireland. Their application was logged at Karachi office on 10 August 2015. INIS claims to have received it on 4 September though and we are still awaiting response.
