tier 2 extension queries

Hi

Our current situation:

Tier 2 General visa (3 yrs visa) expiring in mid August 2016
Tier 2 dependant visa (3 yrs visa) expiring in mid August 2016

My company is applying thru its solicitors for my visa extension along with my spouses visa extension in the next week.

In the event the extension gets rejected, I want to know my options.

1. Can I re-apply for extension with the same employer ?
2. Can I switch to another employer and apply for a Tier 2 change of employer ensuring RLMT is done in the event the extension application gets rejected?
3. If I can change employer how many years Tier 2 change of employer I can apply for further?

your expert advice will be highly appreciated.

what documents have you given? There isn't a " guide to supporting documents" like the one when applying for the first time.

1) unlimited cos ( i assume)
2) maintenance+english not required so nothing at all?
3)biometric
4) current passport

do you need to give a photo as well? BRP?
