non-eu wife with 5 year residence card

I am a European citizen and my wife is Chinese.
We live in the UK now and we applied to get her a residence card.

We are planing to go see my family in the summer.
My country is in the EU but not in schengen.
Can she come with me to visit my country without a visa, based on the UK residence card?
