Thanks aakhan17 for the response. This made a feel better in thinking genuinely its taking time.
I agree with you that, getting response in 1-2 months looks very unrealistic to me. These posts made me think whats wrong in my application, will I be called for interview etc.
So lets for assume that, its genuinely taking time and wait for some good news.

hello mate, no there is not any update on my end and still waiting, but I haven't heard any one asked for interview for Tier 1 general, I think there are some not genuine user which belongs to solicitor and accountant they making rumors for interview and tax deceptions to get customers, and writing post which had response under 1 or 2 month, which is completely unrealistic, I have almost 30 friends who had and having their ILR sorted and no one had his\her ILR before 4 months.

I would advise all genuine user not to believe any of the post by user register same day and writing post!
Well said mate...
I think people making big noise for their own trouble ...we here to discuss right things & get inspire not to get upset.
I applied in Feb 2nd week & keeping eye here that nobody got approval from Jan...so we need to think two things that HO taking time & if you have straight application no need to worry.
If we have to wait then we have to wait ...no excuse .

Ya good to see some post or the other here in this difficult waiting period.

Atleast 3 4 months wait is fine...we dont feel it much...after that it gets nail biting. :x

Also request if anyone gets anything please for sake of us anxious lot here, pls post about it same day if possible . i will do the same

Till then hang on everyone. nearly there. for me every weekend I am thinking for last 3 4 weeks 'maybe its coming this week' and the week goes away empty....

heart jumping a beat everytime on hearing the mailman... it is a difficult phase surely but yes to see others are there in same boat gives some relief to us all I guess.

Thanks for posting here guys..Honestly I am just writing something now so that people like me who are checking in here every few hours like me have something to read :P

Ya just hope all ends well IN SHA ALLAH .

Hi
I Read here some interesting fact after long time I am also waiting since mid of January for my T1G outcome

yes it is true that we are not alone who waiting more then 4 months .i know personally number of Applicant who made them application in January and still awaiting.
those people dont know about this forum so defiantly we dont know about them

As per my view there is number of reasone which can effect our application to be delayed

1- Tier 1 (G) category was closed by April 2011 so before that dead line large number of application was submitted by people to be settled here and those all are illegible now for ILR

2-EU referendum announced few months ago so large number of applicant want to be settle here and they all submitted application before 23rd June and finally case worker has many work to face this high volume application

3-very less chance to called us for interview and HO must arrange Infrastructure and trained staff to done it but i do not think HO can manage it for all application

We seen our forum member "sagan" who made his application in January and few days ago he upgrade his application into PEO and he got approved last Friday this mean there is no special reasone/purpose to hold his application more then 4 months

i wish all of you all the beat and we will have good news very soon

SET(O) Tier 1 (general). (2+3 years) 1 main applicant + 3 dependants, PAYE employed. No solicitor. No emails

Today made a phone call to UKVI. Was told they cannot disclose any info unless it is more than 6 months since the application. Although they asked me if I received a BRP letter, which I said yes. Then she said to wait for the end of 6-months period, which is 12th of July, another month to go

So I am bloody waiting.

Document received in Liverpool: Thursday 26 May 2016
Appointment booked in Liverpool: Friday 27 May 2016 11:00
ILR Approved: Around 2pm Friday 27 May 2016

Notes:
I couldn't wait any longer for my application due to ID required this weekend. I thought the Premium Upgrade service was professional and quick. I think it is a long overdue service and I am extremely lucky it was introduced on the day I needed it.

I was director of my own limited company and contracted myself out to various banks for a few years. I don't really understand the term "self employed" If I work for a company I own and contract myself does that make me self employed or employed by limited company I happen to own? I don't believe that is Self Employed.
Was also permanently full time employed at a large bank for a few years before application for ILR.
No amendments, no tax issues, all self assessed without solicitor or accountant input. Return made and paid on time each year.
I am involved in finance and as such probably have a better understanding of tax than most. I made sure that my financial affairs were in order each year I have been in the UK.
I didn't submit any special documents other than what was asked for in the application. I had payslips from my last employer and letters confirming employment, as well as bank statements showing salary.

Good luck for those guys still waiting and the guys that have been denied ILR. Again, Immigration boards has been a life saver and I appreciate all the input from this forum. I’ll see you guys in one years time when I apply for my citizenship and passport.

Hi sagan,

So you have initially paid £3K for two of you in fees. Then you've upgraded to the PEO.

How much on top of £3K initial fees did you pay for the PEO upgrade?
