Got temp stamp 4 in 26 may 2016 till decision due date approx 4 month.

my due date is 9 sept 2016.

just wondering did they refused the 5 year RC case as like previous uk immigration history ?

if they approved 5 year RC, this time should go alone in GNIB or go with partner, which one is appropriate ?

My wife has Temp Stamp 4 and the decision was due on 2 June, though the Temp Stamp4 is valid until 2 July.Going by what I`ve read on here it now seems that it will be well past that date before we receive any decision.
We would like to go on holiday, but in July or August, but is this possible when we haven`t received a decision.Would it present any problems at the airport when returning to Ireland?

Hi wannago,

My mother's application decision was on due on 1st June and Stamp 4 expires 30th June. We are almost on the same boat.

You will have to apply for a irish re-entry visa for your wife if you want to go on Holidays.

Which country you are planning to travel?

Please let me know when you get any news.

I hope this helps.

Hi Raja,I dont think the re entry visa is for my wife as according to the INIS website they are only issued to visa required nationals,my wife is Brazilian and doesn`t require a visa.
We are planning on traveling to the Canary Islands.

Hi wannago,

If i were you, I wud call or email INIS to confirm as your Stamp 4 would have expired after July 2. Normally the applicant is still permitted to stay in Ireland while the application is being processed

I hope this helps!

"Unfortunately, we are experiencing a delay due to the huge number of
applications.
A decision will issue as soon as possible.
It is not possible to give a definite date."

I'm in the same boat, my 6 months is over and there's still no sign of my 5 year approval. I knew it would be a waste of time but I emailed inis and of course was given their copy/paste response of how they can't tell me anything.

I have until July until my temp stamp 4 expires. I was given a little over the 6 month timeline when I received it.

If we currently have a job and the temp stamp expires, we are legally required to quit it I assume. This is completely ridiculous. I've never had so much trouble finding work in any other country in my life and if you are somehow lucky enough to find something they expect you to quit. I guess I'll have to be unemployed while I wait for the 2 month delay to pass and then go back to job hunting for months on end.

This is the most frustrating experience of my life. I'm really considering giving up on this whole thing and walking away before I waste another few months of my life jobless and without a visa.

Any update guys?

I have hardly seen anyone lately who have got their 4EUFAM.

All we get the standard response from INIS when asked for application status.

I got the 'as soon as possible' reply 2nd time.

I emailed them yesterday quoting the following and so far I ve not got any reply:

"As per the Article 10 of Directive 2004/38/EC, the issuing of a document called "Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen" should be no later than six months from the date on which they submit the application.".

March due decision were 2 months late, a friend of mine got his in may but recently i read a post someone said his 5 year letter arrived after 3 months of due date,
It looks like our decision will be issued 10 or 12 weeks late then actual date.

Raja reading, if ur decision was due on 15 of June then you can expect it by 15 of august or even end of august, because these days 2 Months is a normal delay time
