Tier 1 general dependent?

Post by aquaravian » Wed Jun 29, 2016 5:16 am

Hi,

I was on Tier-1 General , my wife entered UK in 2015 as Tier-1 dependent visa valid till june-2016. Last week I got my ILR. As per current rules which Visa do I need to apply for my wife taking into consideration that she will be applying for ILR after completing 5 years stay in UK.

1. PBS Tier-1 Dependent
or
2. Further Leave to remain (FLRM)

And what kind of supporting documents she would need as she has been in uk not more than a month twice in last year so she has got only NIN and GP letter. And a credit card as an additional card holder with me.
Thanks

Hi,

You can apply PBS Dependent exertion

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -dependant

You should use this form if you are:
• Currently in the United Kingdom as
the dependant spouse, civil partner,
unmarried or same-sex partner or child of
a person in another immigration category
who has, or is at the same time applying
for, leave to remain as a PBS migrant.
• Currently in the United Kingdom as the
dependant spouse, civil partner,unmarried
or same-sex partner or child of a PBS
migrant and seeking to extend their leave
for a further period within their existing
category.
