NZ immigration - Do we need to incl parents' names/birthday

Hi there,

I have New Zealand citizenship/passport and have been living in London for about 10 years.

I am planning to return with my fiancée (European) with a partnership visa for New Zealand.

The question is that due to personal reasons, we prefer not to list her parents nor she has birth certificate.

Can someone please advise how strict the rule of having to provide your parents' details and also birth certificate?
