Application Varied & Interview Letter

Hi,
I applied for Tier 1 Ent Extension in April. Last week, I varied my application to SET(LR) (Within qualifying period) with cover letter of my current grounds. I also wrote a letter to Tier 1 Ent team that I have varied my application to SET(LR) and requested them to hand over my documents to concerned department. Today, I have received an e mail regarding the Interview on 29th July. So what would be best course of action for me to deal the situation.

What a coincidence ...

I believe you should be alright as far as you have varied your application within the qualifying period as its your legal right to do so.

I assume you must have varied your application via post ?

Yes I varied my application via post Special Delivery and Received by HO very Next day. Its been now 7 days and I haven't received HO acknowledgement but Fee has been deducted 2 days ago.

Don't worry your variation was done before they concluded your Tier 1 Ent Ext.

Please note that the acknowledgment letter and biometric request can take a couple of weeks.

Lets see what the seniors say ...

I myself applied for Tier 1 Ent in May 2016, I am enrolling my biometric tomorrow, SET LR is due next month.

Thanks for reply. I know the variation has been done before any decision on current application. I am just curious about this interview date and timings. What should I do in this regard. How to respond. Any opinion from seniors?

Application was applied personally and only required documents were sent.

Any advice on what to do in above mentioned situation??

The truth is I should not be giving advice on this case as I have no experince. But it seems to me you should be calling and emailing UKVI to cancel the interview and if you don't get notification go to interview tell them you already varied and the interview will be very short.
