6 months bank statements

Post by yoyo92 » Fri Jul 22, 2016 7:48 am

Hi all

Soon I'll be requesting 6 months bank statements from my bank for spouse visa.

I was just wondering if the statements I submit have to be complete for each month, or could i start the bank statements from pay day month 1 all the way to payday month 6. I am paid last working day of each month. It would show 6 x monthly wages to match my 6 monthly pay slips.

The reason for this is due me using most of overdraft limit for month 1 and 2 and would prefer to show mostly non-use of my overdraft.

Thanks!

If I've understood you correctly, there shouldn't be any gaps in the payslips covering the 6 month period.

In addition to what Casa said, you have to submit complete monthly statements, not just the pages you think are relevant, ie. payday pages.

Hi sorry if my original post wasn't clear to understand.

What I mean, for example, would it be ok to start statement from say 23rd Jan (my pay day) all the way to june 23rd? That would still be technically 6 months of bank statement data...

Thank you

It shouldn't be a problem if the statements cover the full 6 month period.
