Working in the UK

Post by ANDREWMD1 » Wed Nov 20, 2013 4:37 pm

Yuvan Hi
It is becoming increasingly difficult to find Sponsorship in the UK. However you still can. As long as your skills are good and the position meets the visa criteria you should be fine. Consulting companies are being closely monitored by the Home Office. Have you considered working for an Indian company and then trying to be successful for a Tier 2 ICT? This will give you valuable UK experience and indeed provide you with security and a career upon return to India.

Good luck

Why is it increasingly difficult to find a sponsor when there're more and more of them? Look at the growth rate of the official Tier 2 sponsor list.

Essentially you are saying "How do I find a job?"

On the Home Office registered list of sponsors there are about 30,000 companies who can sponsor. I guess they are in different areas but if you have the right skills you will be able to find a employer.

Good luck!

I don't think anybody would sponsor you.. things are changed now.. If you don't have any special affiliation with the UK, try for Canada or Australia.

Best of luck.

You will have to look through the HO approved Tier 2 sponsor list to find a suitable sponsor.
