Visit Visa Delay

Hello everyone,

I applied for UK visit on 21/06/2016, up to this date 25/07/2016 i haven't received any response from VFS yet.I received an email from the embassy on 02 June that " my UK visa application is now being prepared for assessment by an Entry Clearance Officer" After my several follow ups with VFS they advised me to write an email UKVI. In response to my email on 19th July UKVI informed me that visa application has been processed and decision has been made but i m yet to receive my passport. This is really frustrating situation as mentioned on website standard time for process is 15 working days. In addition to that i haven't even received any single SMS or email update from VFS as well. Reason for posting this is to get an idea if anyone has been in a similar situation before. 21/06/2015 to 25/07/2016 (Saudi Arabia) 21 working days are completed already.

When are you expected to visit the UK as indicated in the visa application form?

Intend travel date 07/07/2016 to 18/07/2016

21/06/2016 submission date
05/01/2016 to 10/07/2016 were Eid holidays in Kingdom.
from 21 June till now 25 July excluding Eid holidays and weekends almost 21 working days are over

I met on guy at application center who submitted his application on 28th June 5 working dates after my submission & got his documents on 20th July exactly after 13 working days.

Im already aware of the fact that delay, refusal & approval varies on case by case basis.

I applied for visit on 12TH July from Bangalore VFS. I haven't got any update on my visa - It's very frustrating as I am supposed to fly out next week..
