I need help please

My cousin willing to invest in the UK and we went online but got lost in the amount of information.

In simple tips can someone kindly guide us on the following;

1- He is a non eu citizen
2- he is outside uk and his money is outside uk he never been to uk , never studied or worked in uk before.
3- He is willing to invest the right amount to get the entry visa and then the settlement

Now question is: what category can he apply the 50,000 or the 200,000?
what is the next step? send money and invest first or apply to come first?

Your entrepreneurial 'cousin' needs to show some initiative and do some of the heavy lifting - start again on www with basic research.

Everyone on this forum needs help. Why don't you title the thread appropriately? (e.g. 'Confused on which route to take 50 or 200K?)

The point of T1E is to let entrepreneurs who think the UK is the best place for them to run their business come (or stay) in the UK. Good for them and good for the UK.

Clearly there are people who care little about entrepreneurship and just use the route as a (seemingly) easy way in. As it turns out that tends to lead to outright refusal or at extension/ILR (which is worse after having spent all the cash time and effort)

So What business does your cousin want to start in the UK? Why the UK (as he has never been here?)

Wouldn't it be prudent if he came over for a visit to learn about the market?

He is into textiles, he wishes to come here because most family is here.

Yet would be good for him to come for a visit which he his planning very soon.

If you (or your friend) can't google and figure out the basics you won't get far in this very complicated visa application. But here it is:

You can apply if you have access to £50,000 in investment funds from one or more of the following:

a UK entrepreneurial seed funding competition endorsed by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI)
a UK government department making funds available for the purpose of setting up or expanding a UK business
a venture capital firm registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

access to £50,000 in investment funds from one of the above

or

£200,000 own funds / third party sponser
