Citizenship applications from Northern Ireland

I am Non EU citizen but working in Northern Ireland for last 5 years. Am I eligible for Irish Naturalisation based on 5 year rule.

My stay in northern Ireland starts from September 2011 – July 2013 in Tier 1 PSW category and July 2013 – current date in Tier 2 General.

I'm afraid, if you are not married to an Irish citizen, the 5-year rule does not apply to you, since you would need to live within the Republic of Ireland

Only spouse of Irish Citizen who live in Northern Ireland or children born in Northern Ireland to parents who have ILR, British or Irish Citizenship, can Benefit from Irish Nationality law.
