Tier 2 - When is Change of Circumstances form required

Post by jkcool » Fri Aug 12, 2016 2:43 pm

Hi All,

I recently had a new born, born in India. My wife was staying with me in UK for last 3 years and she has a 4 years Tier 2 Dependant visa on BRP. For applying passport for my child, she had changed her passport to add my name as a spouse . So she now has a new passport. Does she need to submit a change of circumstances form ?

Also, do I need to inform Home Office that I had a new child in India ?

When I look at the Change of Circumstances form, it is required only when there is a change in name, gender , nationality or address. Am I right ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is she still in India? What name is on her BRP card?

Also, do I need to inform Home Office that I had a new child in India ? No, when you apply for the childs visa they will know.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no change in name. Only there is an addition of spouse name.

The name on her BRP should match what is in her passport. So what name does her BRP card say?

Name of passport matches exactly with BRP.

In Indian passport, there is a place in the last page which gives name of parents and spouse. Her previous passport was taken before marriage , it was blank. The new passport is issued the spouse name updated correctly.

Hello Everyone,

I have moved to the new address , So on the Migrant Change of circumstances form, what we need to mention in the Section 18 ?

Do we just need to mention the New Address with the Postcode or we need to mention the Old Address as well ?

Because we don't have any section for the old address.

Please help me on this.

Many Thanks.
