ILR interview after 6 months postal application

Post by kiranv5 » Thu Apr 14, 2016 6:57 pm

HI,

I have applied my ILR in OCT'2015 and received a letter from HO today for Interview in BGHAM and I have payment arrangment plan setup with HMRC regarding my self employment . I am in permanant employment from last 4 years.
I am also self employed from last 3 yrs. I want to know what are the success chances in attending the interview. Would setting up an payment arrangment plan with HMRC considered as deception?
Tax claimed and provided to HMRC are same( no differnce in amount ) . No ammendments made.

Please let me know what are the chances in getting an ILR.

Thanks
Kiran

They might have some doubt on your self-employment business and may need to confirm the nature and source of your income and that is has been genuinely earned for work or services provided to your clients.
I dont think so there should be any problem on your Taxes if right income declare to HMRC.

When is your interview?
when did you clam income from self employment? was it during initial or extension application? were u sole trader or director of ltd company? when did you do the tax amendment? It will be better if you can provide these informations so that the board members can help accordingly.

during ILR r u claiming income from salaried plus self employment?

HI f317633,

I have use SE only for extension visa and ILR I have not done any tax amendements. I have submitted what I have earned from SE to HMRC. My only doubt is setting up payment plan with HMRC considered under deception or not ?.

Thanks
Kiran

HI Kiranv5,

You do not need to worry about the setting up payment plan with HMRC. You have done your part and I do not see it is a deception. So do not worry and I wish you Good Luck.

Hi Kiranv5, from the thread it looks like you applied Oct 2015 a year now and you are still waiting. Is that true? I applied Jan 29th 16 and still waiting and am fed up already.
