how long acknowledgement takes if apply by post for ILR

Hello fellows

I posted my ILR application on 11 Aug 2016

I am still waiting for acknowledgement i ask experts how many days HO takes to send, if apply by post.

I sent mine on 7th and haven't received any ack or BM yet.... Think Aug is mostly holiday time and less caseworkers available.... Hence the delay. Or Seniors may have another thought...

It takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
I got first automated ukba email exactly 4 weeks after I posted my application and then 2 days letter I received my acknowledgement letter along with Biometric letter.
As mentioned August had more bank holidays so i guess it will be longer than usual.

my bad its UKVI now not UKBA

i think it takes about 6weeks ,i applied on july 4,2016 and got my acknowledgement email on august 8,2016 . got my biometric letter on 11/08/16

My time line;

Applied by post SET (LR) = 18/08/2016
Recieved by UKVI = 19/08/2016
Bankers Draft cleared = 25/08/2016
Acknowledgement e-mail recieved = 08/09/2016
Biometric letter recieved = 09/09/2016 (dated 07/09)
Biometric enrolled = 10/09/2016
