Non-Eu PERMITTED family succesful visa updates if available

Post by Sajji11 » Mon May 30, 2016 5:08 pm

Hi there,

Recent Updates for granted visas to permitted adult family members only

Can you please update here if you have any news related to successful story of any known(confirmed) non-Eu Permitted family members over 20 years? like brother, sisters, uncle, cousins etc.
Just wanted to know if this EU treaty rights are really something or just a joke for Permitted adult family members.

Any recent updates will be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Hi all,

This morning I received a registered post from INIS. after 6 months.
Its a simple acknowledgement stating my details and provided documents.
No temporary stamp etc.... at the end they said that INIS will decide shortly after examine the case. they did not ask for any other documents which looks strange. please update your status or related information if you have any.
thanks

The Law states that they must issue residence to a person who has demonstrated that they are permitted Family members.

They do issue residence card to permitted family members, one of my sibling and mother was granted residence card as permitted and Qualifying Family member respectively, at the end of last year.

So it is not a joke. Ressence card are issues to permitted family members who meets the requirements.

Although I must say, I have been troubled to see that some people who clearly comply with the law, are being refused for unscrupulous reasons.

@Sajji
Thanks for the update
I pray your case is positive. If you have more documents to help your case maybe you can send to them before they decide on your case.
Since the new EU1A form has been used I've not seen or heard any "positive" case so far for permitted members (sister brother etc).
It's amost six months for my case and I've not even received acknowledgment.

@sajji
Any update on your case?

From what I've seen so far
It seems they are really not issuing temp stamp to permitted members and acknowledgement takes a little over six months

It can be cousins, or aunts. It all depends on whether they are dependent or members of your household

Maybe we were one of the lucky ones, but my partner was just issued a temp stamp 4 yesterday as a permitted family member, expiring in April 2017. Took pretty much exactly 14 weeks to get it.

@SAtoIE

Very lucky! I think they are more lenient with partners tha siblings . Those I've heard got were unmarried partners but not siblings uncles aunts. I'm still waiting but taking other options. Mind you i applied in March
