Settlement same day application

Hello,

i've had the discretionary leave 2x3 and now made an application for settlement. quick question i need advice on, i was claiming job seekers allowance between oct 2015 and july 2016. Started working in August so benefits was stopped( I'm entitled to public funds by the way). will this be a problem for me because now I only have 2 months worth of pay slip to provide, because someone i spoke to said that my application might be refused if they know i'd been on benefits. please advice
