Tier 4 Dependent Rejected - "Lack of Relationship Evidence"

Hello All,

My girlfriend of 8 years has been accepted into a PhD program at a UK University. When applying for her Tier 4 Student Visa, I also applied as a Dependent as I plan on eventually moving there. Long story short, my Visa application was denied due to lack of relationship evidence. I know that living together at the same address for 2 years is a requirement (which we've never done since she was getting her masters over 2 hours away from my work).

Is there no other way to prove our relationship? Pictures? Call/text logs? Has anybody experienced a similar situation?

Dependents do not include bf/gf; the relationship has to be akin to marriage.

You don't qualify as a non-married (unmarried partner) as you haven't lived together in a relationship 'akin to marriage' for the mandatory 2 year period.

The refusal was correct.

Partner visa is a killer, have to tick every box very positively, and I'm afraid you don't here....
