ILR+Child benefits

Hi,
I am on ILR and my wife is still on dependent visa.
We have got a baby born in UK after I had my ILR.
Can I claim child benefits? And if yes, will it affect my or my wife's future applications of residency/ILR?

You know that the baby is automatically British and can apply directly for passport.
