eu1 dependent parent uk citizen 2016

Post by freeworld1 » Sun Nov 13, 2016 9:54 pm

arz1986, zahmed05,

I am planning to move to Ireland from UK and want o apply eu1 dependent for parents. I can't find much information on internet related to documents required in relation to showing the dependency for Parents. Could you please tell me what documents do I need to show and for how long the dependency needs to be?

Many thanks.

Hi,

You will need money transfer evidence.

You will also need to show they don't have source of income and they completely rely on money given by you.

Where are parents?

Thanks Zeeshan.

Parents are in India and I have applied for their UK visit visa.

Will 3 months of money transfers be sufficient?

There is no minimum period but I have seen cases with 6 months dependency.

Get visit visa and by the time you come here it will be nearly 6 months. Once they are in Ireland and you provide them with accommodation and living etc then you should be ok.
