BRP ‘transfer of conditions’ (TOC) Tier 2

Hello Experts,

I hold a BRP card and is valid until April 2017. Recently I renewed by Indian password, please help with understanding if I need to update HO with my new passport number.

Also, do I need to new Renew my BRP card due to change of Passport Number.
