Best Route please

Please I'm trying to find out what is the best immigration route to use to join my partner.

I'm non EU
He's british but from N.I and has been working in Ireland for about 10years. He only has British passport at the moment.

Please can anyone advise me what the best route is as we are both confused what to do. Thanks a lot.

Free to travel?? Not sure exactly what you mean. If you mean time to travel yes that is possible.

Partner fixed in Eire because of job

Language - English
Skills set - decent education and qualifications

Kids... Not any yet (I prefer to be settled before kids)

Yes, a Union citizen working in a.n.other memberstate is exercising treaty rights.
May be best route for you as you can reside, work, study there too - at least for as long as UK remains in EU.
After that all bets are off.

Ofcourse there's unlikely to be time to acquire PR in normal way.

If he works here you can apply for stamp 4, permit to work and live here for 5 years. You need to fulfil EU 1 form.

If all goes to plan (whatever the plan actually is), UK won't be in EU in 5 years time so keep that in mind if only starting out on an migration adventure to Eire about now.
No issue for the British sponsor in Eire (unless CTA is altered); however a Brit won't be an 'EU sponsor' in 5 years time.

This is my confusion
Because on INIS site there's no other permission for EU spouses other than EU1 form. Because if I'm applying to join spouse that's EU, they advices short stay C and eu1.

So I don't know if there would be a transitional agreement for those on EUfam4

You did say he is from Northern Ireland. If he was born in Northern Ireland he is also eligible for Irish Citizenship.Maybe a solid option would be to have him apply for his Irish citizenship you can then make an application as the spouse of an Eire National. This should eliminate your fears on the Brexit debacle.
