Biometric Residency Permid (card) with dependency visa?

My husband has an Ancestry Visa, do I need a Biometric Residency card? I am trying to change my Canadian driving license to a Northern Ireland license and they're saying that it is the ONLY proof of residency that is acceptable. How do I go about getting this?

Assuming you have an Ancestry dependent visa in your passport, this should be accepted.

When did you arrive in the UK on your visa?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
