Question regarding BRP

Hi.

Last week my wife submitted (by post) her extension of leave to remain in the UK.
UKVI have obviously received it as they have taken the payment.
We are now expecting to be asked to provide biometric information at a crown post office, but we are not sure whether we will get a letter from UKVI with this request or whether it will arrive by email.

Does anyone know?

You get a letter in the post and you need to take the letter with you to the Post Office.
