Re-entry UK under Tier 2 (valid less than 8 weeks)

Hi all,

I am planning to travel abroad for a week on personal matter and will come back to UK. I currently hold Tier 2 (General) visa, however my work visa is on valid until the first week of March. Would I have any difficulties to re-enter UK, say the first/ second week of February? is there a minimum period of valid UK visa to gain an entry back to UK?

You should be fine coming back to UK as long as you have valid leave.

Recently returned with less than a month on mine, there is no issue

Provided neither your circumstances nor purpose have changed.

It would be nice if your employer issued your COS for your extension then there is less doubt as to why you are returning.
