Son Wants To Visit Sick Mother

My wifes father called Sxxxx lives in Pakistan. Sxxxx mother came to the UK in the 70s after her husband applied for visa for wife and son. During the process, Sxxxx was a child and had to answer some questions about his family. He got one answer wrong and it was thought Sxxxx was not the son of his father. His mother was allowed to come to the UK but not Sxxxx. Sxxxx was looked after relatives in Pakistan, married and had children. Some of his children are in settled in UK via marriage. In the last 25 years Sxxxx has visited the UK five times as a family visitor. Each time the Visa was not granted with same excuse he won't come back from UK. Each time his sponsor appealed in UK and won the appeal. Now that the appeal system has been abolished, Sxxxx applied for visa last year and it got rejected again with same excuse. Sxxxx mother is ill with Parkinsons disease and wants to see her son. She is not fit enough to travel to Pakistan as she keeps on falling and in the last 6 months, has been to hospital 3 times as an emergency.

What can be done in this case? in the 70s there was no DNA testing so it is cruel Sxxxx has been left in Pakistan rather then joining his family in UK. His father has passed away. Is there anyway Sxxxx can request for DNA testing be done so he can join his mother in UK or get a short or long term visa to visit her?

Thanks for reply. He was about 10 years old and now he is 57. Is there no way of getting a dna test done to get him a visa?

Adult son will have to apply for any visa in his own right.

I believe that they shouldn't continue to repeatedly ignore previous multiple successful appeals, if his circumstances are the same. This makes a mockery of previous judgments.

Make a complaint and report to the Independent Chief Inspector, etc.
