PR Application

Post by Ani82 » Sun Feb 05, 2017 2:52 pm

Dear Members ....

I am about to apply for PR as EEA national. I am in here since 2009.

I have been working as a self employed , part time and now full Time employed and also studying part time while working.

I have all the tax returns since 2009 , residence certificate issued in 2011 , pay slips , P60.

No CSI as I assume or believe I didn't need as I was working all the time in form of self employed and employed.

But I have been claims benefits such as working and child tax credits and housing benefits since 2012 as I was entitled to get as a single mother.

Can I as members and moderates that I qualify for PR and what are chances plz???

Any suggestions and feed back would be much appreciated.

Regards
Ani

You may have acquired PR as early as 2014.
What you apply for now is simply confirmation of this.

As long as work was genuine and effective (and you can prove it) then all should be well.

HO may apply MET test to you too, that goes above and beyond the cleaner, purer EU law.

Were you paying tax/NI?

Dear noajthan...
Thanks for your prompt reply , really appreciate that.
Let me explain and be more precise in my earnings throughout.
Statrted as Self Employed as a cleaner job - since 2009
Part Time Emp + Studying (NO CSI) 12/2009 - 12/2010 ( Also Stayed Self Emp during that time)
Self Emp - 12/2010 - 12/2013 ( £150 per week as a office administrator + Cleaning Services ) payed all NI contribution through and tax returns through out with accountant.
Also I was studying and I have achieved my certificates through approved college but no CSI.

Employed Part time - 12/2013 till 10/2016 ( £120 per week as I was looking after my child)
EMP Full time - 10/2016 - till date for same company ( £220 per week as able to do full because my son start full time school)

P60 's , Pay slips , Tax Returns , Account Letters , NI contributions , Invoices , Emp letter for both Self Emp and Emp company, proof of address , such as tenancy agreement , bank statements , council tax bills are available)

However the company I was working for self Emp before 2013 doesn't exist any more but still have invoices and contract letter.

Hope you may be able to get more clearer review about my case now. And thanks in advance for you reply.

Under EU law, parttime work in itself is not an issue as long as the work was continuous.

If you were paying tax/NI and earning above MET you should have acquired PR as long as no long absences from UK;
assuming you gave good supporting evidence.

Thanks a lot again...

I am not sure about MET? How much is that a week if you know plz??
And I only paid NI contribution as income wasn't that high that I have to pay any tax on it.
And all the tax returns were through approved accountant.

And YES all the evidence are available to support the case , I am only worried about the benefits I been claiming through out as I was entitled to.

Any suggestions on it plz??

No issue with benefits unless income was marginal.

For MET, see:

Thanks noajthan..

It's really helpful and I appreciate your time and kind advice on it. I will be sending the application shortly and would like to know about the supporting documents with application.

As I have bunch of papers for last 7 to 8 years , such as bank statements , payslips as they are weekly , invoices they are loads of them etc etc ...

Should I only send 3-5 months statements each year , payslips , invoices etc etc??

You need to prove your id, residence in UK (absences within limits) and exercise of treaty rights.

Get into the head of the caseworker who will assess your case, here:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... 4_0EXT.pdf

Adopt belt and braces approach to supporting evidence.
Sample of payslips, bank statements - say, one per quarter, should be acceptable.
