Tier 2 Salary Requirment when partner will support me

My partner is a uk national and earns enough money to support us both. We are not married and I do not have a work visa.

My question is...does the salary threshold still apply when my partner earns enough money to support us? I want to work so just being in the uk without a job is not appealing to me!

If you don't have a work visa (although your thread title suggests differently), do you have valid leave under another visa category :?:
