Schengen visa for UK tourist visa holder

Hello there,

I am having UK permanent residency with BRP card. I still have my Indian passport.
My father from India is currently with me and is on tourist visa. His visa is valid for 10 years.

We are planning to go to Paris in May. I want to know if I can apply for his Schengen visa while he is in UK. So, if I can apply for his visa from London based consulate?

Please guide.

Your father is not a UK resident. Cannot apply for any visas from UK. He needs to apply from his home country.
