Post by kishorselokar » Thu Feb 16, 2017 11:46 am

Dear Members,

I am on T2 General visa and below is my visa history:

Visa granted: 20-May-2012
Entered first in UK: 05-August-2012
Extension granted and visa valid until: 20-May-2018
Eligibility for ILR date : 20-May 2017 (based on my entry clearance date)

Based on my above mentioned dates what is the earliest date I can apply for ILR.

Please advice, many thanks in advance

Hi Kishore,

I hope someone may clear it for you here that if your time would have started from 20th May 2012 or 5th August 2012.

You can apply no more than 28 days before you are eligible to apply for ILR.

For 20th May: You would be eligible to apply on or after 24th April.
For 05th Aug: You would be eligible to apply on or after 10th July.

I hope if someone expert can comment on these dates and confirm it for you.

Regards,

vinny

Tier 2 General - Me & my family staying with family friend

Post by kishorselokar » Fri Feb 17, 2017 9:03 am

Dear All,

My ILR is due very soon and since last six month me and my family is staying with family friend therefore on council tax bill my and my wife name is not included.
Question 1:In this scenario what documents I need to show to home office(HO) to prove that me and my wife are staying on the same address (for information my bank account is joint account with current address).
Question 2:-If HO ask for council tax bill then what shall I do?

Your answers will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
