RLMT Closing date

I am in the process of switching employer. The employer has advertised the role on Jobcentre, LinkedIn and Indeed.

However, when I asked for the evidence of the adverts, I realised that instead of closing date, the print screen provided has this "Please apply online attaching your CV and covering letter within 28 days of the first placement of this advertisement."

Will this be sufficient to fulfil the "Closing date" requirement?

LinkedIn and similar social media unlikely to be adequate.

If LinkedIn is not adequate, what about Indeed and Jobcentre? I believe, the 2 should be adequate. They also advertised on the company's website.

The only issue I can see is the Closing date; hence the essence of my post.

You need all the expose you can give the role to or rather your prospective employer should, it's nothing to do with you.

This has 'pre-selection' written all over it.

I think you did not read my post very well. They had advertised the role before I was given the job. I asked the employer for the evidence that they had conducted RLMT as I want to be sure before making my application. I am happy with the evidences they provided as they showed me the copies of adverts on LinkedIn, Indeed and Job centre. The only part I am worried about is the "Closing Date"

Can you be more explicit why you think I was pre-selected for the role?

I am yet to apply. I will probably apply next week. I will post the outcome for everyone to see.

As I earlier promised to give feedback: I applied for a change of employment via priority service on 3rd March and I got my approval letter today despite receiving a letter from Home Office sent on Friday last week that my application will not be processed within 10 working days as they require my employer to confirm some information.

These are my timelines:

Passport Sent on the 3rd March
Received by Home Office on 6th March
Biometric letter sent on 7th March, received on 8th March
Biometric enrolled on 8th March
Received a letter on 15th March dated 10th March that my application will not be processed within 10 working days
Approval letter on 16th March received on 17th March
