applying from uk

i m trying to apply for my wife visa but i m not sure about how many payslips do i need to hand in while applying for her visa.

What is your UK immigration status?

If you have ILR or are BC, you must submit 6 months payslips and 6 months corresponding bank statements if a PAYE employee. 12 months documents if you are self employed.

i m British citizen currntley employed earring £ 21000 per year

6 months then of both sets of documents.

i m applying for my wife there is a online form that i need to fill but not sure whose details i am suppose to fill in my detail or her detail

also i will be applying for her visa in mid April and wanted to travel with her but not sure how long will it take if i cant apply for 1 day service

If your wife is not in the UK, you cannot apply for one day service in the UK. She must submit her application in the country she is in.

Where is she applying from as different processes apply to certain countries?

Your spouse is the applicant NOT YOU!! She must apply. You helping to complete the forms does not mean you are applying for her and she does nothing. She must sign the forms and submit them and her biomtrics.

In the past anyone applying for a British visa in Pakistan would normally visit and make an application at the Embassy in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. Unfortunately due to the terror threats in Pakistan, this is no longer possible.

Instead the British Embassy uses its service provider, Gerry’s FedEx for applicants to lodge certain documents(Applicants passport and biometrics only) in Islamabad, Mirpur, Lahore and Karachi.

The rest of the application and supporting document are now sent to UKBA offices in Sheffield England. The address for supporting documentation to be sent to is:

I am confused which documents will be submitted from UK and which from Pakistan.


Secondly I am confused about I am planning to apply in April. Which date should I put in 'Planned arrival in UK'.

The link you have provided tells you exactly what documents get sent where. As does the online system once you have completed the form. It is still the applicant in Pakistan that has to apply, YOU cannot apply for them.

The date you wish to travel is the date you put. No one can tell you what to put and there is no 'right or wrong' answer.
